Tatami Yoga Mats
Ever felt annoyed by your sweaty slippery yoga mat? We designed this tatami yoga mat just to solve this problem.
Japanese people take off their shoes all the time without ever having to worry about foot odor or sweaty feet, because tatami is excellent in absorbing moisture (moisture absorbing ability of tatami is 2.5 times that of cotton), and is experimentally proved to absorb to reduce unpleasant odors including odor from sweating, bodily odors, pet odor and smoke smell by reducing chemicals such as ammonia, acetic acid, isovaleric acid, trimethylamine, indole, 2-nonenal and pyridine.
The tatami yoga mats are perfect for a meditation session as well. The relaxing scent of tatami contains phytoncide, which is the effective component in "forest bathing".
